Chapter 20 : Homeward

我是穷人，出身寒门，但是我有着：

The pride of the underprivileged, the ambition of the poor;

穷人的傲骨，穷人的志气；

The strength of the poor, the indomitable spirit of the impoverished;

穷人的坚强，穷人的不屈；

The determination of the underprivileged, the perseverance of the poor.

穷人的决心，穷人的毅力。

Don\''t let tears flow. Only let sweat pour to illuminate the path ahead.

莫流泪水，只流汗水把前路清。

We are made of flesh and blood, yet possess a heart as steadfast as steel.

血肉做的人儿，钢铁般的心。

This is not a lamentation of poverty. Instead, I aspire to narrate a triumphant anthem of people experiencing poverty through my personal journey.

这不是一首穷人的悲歌，我要以自己的故事写一首穷人的颂歌。

没有想到在半路上遇到了自己的姑姑。

In her previous life memories, her aunt was a genuinely kind woman who deeply cared for her maternal kin. Consequently, Lotus had sincere respect and appreciation for her aunt, feelings that originated from the deepest corner of her heart.

前世记忆中，这个姑姑是一个好姑姑，她疼爱娘家人，关心娘家人，所以段莲是从心里对这位姑姑有着感激和尊敬之情的。
