Chapter 4: Midnight Fright半夜

个陌生的男人走过来了。

Silently, I prayed for him to leave, to go far away and stay away from me.

赶紧走开吧，赶紧走远吧，赶紧离开吧，我心里默默地祈祷着。

However, the stranger didn''t leave. He walked straight toward my hiding spot. In that instant, I realized I was wearing a white dress, which made me stand out in the dark night. I had nowhere to hide, and the man had observed my every move from afar. No wonder he hadn''t chased me.

可是这个陌生的男人并没有走远，而是直接走向了我的藏身的地方。我此时才惊觉原来我穿的是件白色衣服，在这黑夜中非常地明显，所以我无处可躲，这个男人远远地就看到了我的所作所为，也难怪他没有追着我赶来。

"You''re here to wash your hands too?" the man initiated a conversation with me.

“你也在这里洗手呀！”男人向我搭话道。

"Yes, I''ve finished washing them," I replied, promptly picking up my empty shoulder pole and walking away. However, the man trailed me once more.

“是的，我已经洗完了。”我马上挑着我的空担子拉开步子往前走，而这个死男人居然又跟过来了。
